Para el espacio museal la artista presenta "La caverna" una instalación que explora la vida a través de procesos físicos y químicos, integrando restos de telas, anotaciones y un video sobre la relación entre arte y naturaleza.

El Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Sídney, durante la Bienal, presenta la obra de 22 artistas y propone ver los ríos como sedimentos de la cultura y entidades vivas que debemos honrar y de las cuales debemos aprender. Inspirada en los ritos mortuorios de los pueblos Paracá, la artista de Solminihac plantó dos cerezos en su taller, usando macetas hechas de capas de tela, replicando la técnica Paracá. Al caer las últimas hojas de los árboles, fotografió los restos materiales y, al invertir las imágenes, creó impresiones que parecen del universo, nada más lejos del material que las originó.
La Caverna es una instalación que invita a dirigir la mirada hacia los ciclos dinámicos en donde surge la vida a partir de un juego aleatorio de procesos físicos y químicos. En este espacio se encuentran los restos de telas que quedaron de las macetas, sus imágenes invertidas, que una vez impresas, fueron enterradas en la misma tierra que antes contuvieron y en el muro contrario se encuentran las anotaciones de las hojas de sus cuadernos impresas en un papel mural como si fuera una trama continua entre pensamientos y vida. La Caverna culmina con un video de 10 minutos de duración que da cuenta de procesos creativos en el arte y su relación con la naturaleza.

For the museum space, the artist presents "The Cavern," an installation that explores life through physical and chemical processes, integrating fabric remnants, annotations, and a video on the relationship between art and nature.

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney is presenting the work of 22 artists during the Biennale, proposing to see rivers as sediments of culture and as living entities to be honored and learned from. Inspired by the mortuary rites of the Paracá people, artist de Solminihac planted two cherry trees in her studio, using pots made of layers of fabric, replicating the Paracá technique. When the last leaves fell from the trees, she photographed the material remnants and, by inverting the images, created impressions that seem to come from the universe, far removed from the material that created them.
La Caverna (the cavern) is an installation that invites to draw attention to the dynamic cycles in which life emerges from the random play of physical and chemical processes. In this space are the remnants of the fabrics left by the pots, their inverted images, once printed, buried in the same earth they once contained, and on the opposite wall are the annotations of her notebook pages printed on a wall paper, as if it were a continuous weave between thought and life. La Caverna concludes with a 10-minute video showing the creative process of art and its relationship to nature.
